PectusVac Instructions

Advantages of the PectusVac

The PectusVac should be used consistently while following the easy instructions provided by the Medical personnel.

These are the advantages:

  • Soft and Strong: It is soft on the skin and it is self-retaining.
  • Follow the Progress: The simple measuring rod parts allows you to follow the correction progress of the pectus excavatum.

  3. Place: Center the PectusVac over the chest with the marked spot underneath.
  4. Press: Gently create a vacuum by pressing down on the PectusVac.
  5. Wrap: Secure the device to the chest with the velcro wrap.
  6. Adjust Pressure: For more suction, pump the bulb 2-3 times and then detach it.
